floconverter is a responsive web app, not a native iOS or Android app — there's nothing to install from an app store. Everything on the site, including the converter, live rates, and charts, is built to work the same way in a phone browser as it does on a desktop, just laid out differently for a smaller screen.
The currency picker is the part most obviously rebuilt for touch. On desktop it's a dropdown you can scroll; on mobile it opens as a searchable full-width panel, because scrolling a 176-item list with a thumb is a bad experience no matter how you style it. Tap either currency box and type to filter instead of scrolling.
If you want something that behaves like an installed app — an icon on your home screen, opening without browser chrome around it — both iOS and Android support adding a website to your home screen directly from the browser, no app store involved. On iPhone, open the site in Safari, tap the Share icon, and choose "Add to Home Screen." On Android in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu and choose "Add to Home screen" or "Install app." Either way, you get an icon that opens straight to the site.
A couple of things behave slightly differently on mobile worth knowing about. The historical charts are touch-scrollable rather than hover-based — drag across the chart to see values at different points instead of hovering a cursor. And because mobile connections are less consistent than a desk-bound wifi connection, a rate that looks stale after switching apps and coming back is usually just the page waiting to refresh — pull down or reload rather than assuming something's broken.
Dark mode carries over to mobile and is worth turning on if you're checking rates at night — the toggle is in the header, same as on desktop, just tucked into the compact mobile nav.
